Empowering Change Since 2019
Since 2019 we’ve brought women and allies in tech together to host events that build confidence, foster connection and grow community.
We amplify unheard voices and create opportunities that wouldn’t exist otherwise.
We’ve seen the impact of these moments, but our work is ongoing; we’re always striving to go further. So far, our journey has reached more than 2,800+ attendees across two locations, 230+ inspiring speakers and 160+ sponsor organisations.
This is not a one-off event; it’s a movement built by women in tech, for women in tech. Empower Women in Tech Conference is a not-for-profit initiative and depends on businesses that share our values to help drive meaningful, lasting change.

Charity
Empower Women in Tech Conference is a not-for-profit event which means every penny we make above covering our costs enables us to make a donation to charity.
This gives us the huge task every year of selecting a charity to benefit from our charitable donation.
Throughout our marketing campaigns, we actively fundraise for our chosen charity and create fundraising opportunities and brand presence for our charities through speaking opportunities and on-the-day activity at our events.
Since 2019 (as Reframe Women in Tech) we have supported charities including Pave The Way, Sunflower for Ukraine and Autistica.
In 2025 as Empower we were proud to support SmartWorks Manchester.
What To Expect
In September 2026 we will welcome more than 300 attendees to Empower Women in Tech Conference, Manchester 2026.
This one-day conference brings together an inspiring line-up of speakers, selected through application, who will share insights through keynote speeches, panel discussions, and breakout sessions.
The day also includes interactive, action-focused learning workshops designed to turn ideas into practice, alongside plenty of opportunities to connect with others.
Expect a safe supportive space for networking, career conversations, and meaningful connections.
